What is spunbonded non-woven fabric?
Spunbonded nonwovens are continuously spun from fibers. The polymer is extruded and stretched to form a filament. These filaments are laid in a net. Then, in a thermal, chemical or mechanical treatment, the web itself will bond. Through reinforcement, the net becomes a non-woven fabric. Applications of spunbonded non-woven fabrics include non-woven bags, interlinings, health care overalls, masks and filters. Increasingly popular in the health and medical industry.

The raw materials for the production of anti-stick non-woven fabrics include PP (polypropylene), Pet (polyester), nylon and PE (polyethylene). The most commonly used is PP, which has stability, heat resistance, aging resistance and air permeability.

What is meltblown non-woven fabric?
The process of melt-blowing is to convert polymer fragments into a mesh fabric. Common raw materials are PP and PE. After being squeezed, filtered and pumped, hot air blows the fibers from the melt-blown mold to form a finer, tangled web. This simple processing method gives it a significant cost advantage over other systems.

What is SMS nonwoven fabric?
SMS non-woven fabric is a three-layer structure, consisting of spunbond, melt-blown and spunbond. It has the same structure as a sandwich. The top layer is spunbonded non-woven fabric. The middle layer is melt-blown. And then the bottom layer is spunbond.

Meltblown nonwoven product applications:
Melt-blown non-woven fabric is the core material of mask and filter material. Material with good liquid filtration, insulation, absorption, heat preservation, oil absorption and wiping.

SMS non-woven product applications:
SMS non-wovens have a huge market. The final product usually varies depending on its thickness.

Thin SMS products perform well in terms of water resistance and air permeability. They are particularly suitable for the sanitary products market, such as sanitary napkins, sanitary pads, baby diapers, etc.

SMS products of medium thickness are suitable for use in medical products. They include surgical gowns, surgical kit cloths, surgical cloths and sterile bandages. After being treated with alcohol, blood, oil and antistatic, this non-woven fabric becomes the ideal material for high-quality medical protective equipment. The cloth can also be used in overalls and protective clothing.

Thick SMS products are widely used as highly efficient filtration materials for a variety of gases and liquids. At the same time, they are highly efficient oil absorbing materials. They are used in industrial wastewater degreasing, Marine oil cleaning and industrial rags.
