This is then subjected to another process called meltblowing through which the plastic that has been pushed through the spinneret is blown by hot air. The hot air then stretches the molten plastic into fine fibers. These fibers are gathered in a web of material on an alimenting tape.

This fabric then goes through a process in which the two layers are chemically fused together. The heating and pressing that happens here helps to strengthen the fabric in question and give it double its durability as previously. This prevents the area from becoming loosen and ensures that the material does not fall apart easily.
