1. What is PET Nonwoven Fabric?
Polyester (PET) spinning stick filament non-woven fabric is a kind of non-woven fabric, its raw material is 100% polyester slice. It is made of numerous continuous polyester filament by spinning and bonding hot rolled. Also known as PET spun viscose filament non-woven fabric or PES spun viscose non-woven fabric, also known as one component spun viscose non-woven fabric.

Characteristics of PET non-woven fabric

First, polyester (PET) spun viscose filament non-woven fabric is a kind of water-repellent non-woven fabric, according to the different gram size of non-woven fabric water-repellent performance is different. The larger and thicker the gram weight, the better the water repellent performance. If there are water droplets on the surface of non-woven fabric, water will slide directly from the surface.
Second, high temperature resistance. Because the melting point of polyester is about 260°C, it can maintain the stability of non-woven fabric size under the environment of temperature resistance. Has been widely used in heat transfer printing, transmission oil filtration, and some need high temperature resistance of composite materials.
Third, polyester (PET) spunbonded non-woven fabric is second only to nylon spunbonded non-woven fabric a filament non-woven fabric. Its excellent strength, good breathable properties, tensile tear resistance and anti-aging properties have been used by more and more people in various fields.
Fourth, polyester (PET) spunbonded non-woven fabric also has a very special physical property: resistance to gamma rays. In other words, if it is applied to medical products, it can be directly sterilized with gamma rays without damaging its physical properties and dimensional stability, which is a physical property that polypropylene (PP) spunbonded non-woven fabrics do not have.

The difference from PP non-woven fabric and PET non-woven

PP is polypropylene raw material, namely polypropylene fiber, belongs to thin non-woven fabric; PET is a new polyester raw material, namely polyester fiber, the whole production process without any additives, is a very good environmental protection products, belonging to the thick non-woven fabric.
(PP) polypropylene non-woven fabric and (PET) polyester non-woven fabric comparison:
1. PP raw material is cheap, PET raw material is expensive. PP waste can be recycled in the furnace, PET can not be recycled, so the cost of PP is slightly lower.
2. PP high temperature resistance at about 200 degrees, and PET at about 290 degrees, PET is more resistant to high temperature than PP.
3. Non-woven printing, heat transfer effect, the same width PP shrink, PET shrink, better effect, PET save less waste.
4. Tension, tension, load-bearing capacity, the same gram weight, PET than PP tension, tension, load-bearing capacity. 65 grams of PET is equivalent to 80 grams of PP tension, tension, load-bearing capacity.
5. From the point of view of environmental protection, PP doped with recycled PP waste, PET all new polyester slices, PET is more environmentally friendly and hygienic than PP.
