What is PET polyester spunbond hot-rolled non-woven fabric?

1. Product introduction

PET polyester spunbond hot-rolled non-woven fabric is a kind of nonwoven fabric, which is made of innumerable continuous polyester filaments through spunbonded hot-rolled. The highest temperature resistance is 290 ℃, which is commonly used for sublimation heat transfer printing, cable coating, etc.

It is a kind of non-woven fabric, which is made of innumerable continuous polyester filaments through spunbond and hot rolled. Also called PET spunbond filament nonwoven fabric or PES spunbond nonwoven fabric, also called single component spunbond non-woven fabric.
It has high strength, high temperature resistance (can be used in 150 ℃ environment for a long time), aging resistance, ultraviolet resistance, high elongation, good stability and permeability, corrosion resistance, sound insulation, mothproof, non-toxic. The highest temperature resistance is 290 ℃, which is commonly used for sublimation heat transfer printing.

2. Product features

(1)Water repellent. The water repellency of polyester spunbond non-woven fabrics is different according to the weight. The heavier and thicker the weight is, the better the water repellency is, and the water drops will fall directly from the surface.
(2)High temperature resistance. Since the melting point of polyester is about 260 ° C, the stability of the overall dimensions of non-woven fabrics can be maintained in the environment where temperature resistance is required. It has been widely used in heat transfer printing, transmission oil filtration, and some composite materials that need high temperature resistance.
(3)The properties of strength resistance, good air permeability, tear resistance and aging resistance are increasingly used in various fields, and have become the conventional coating materials in the world cable industry. It is a kind of filament non-woven fabric second only to nylon spunbond non-woven fabric.
(4)Anti gamma ray. When applied to medical products, they can be directly disinfected with gamma rays without damaging their physical properties and dimensional stability, which is the physical property that polypropylene (PP) spunbond non-woven fabric does not have.

3. Applications

(1)Clothing and home textile: lining, floc, various synthetic leather base cloth and shaped cotton. Calendar, office document hanging bag, curtain, dust cover, storage bag, etc;
(2)Packaging application: cable wrapping cloth, materials for bags, container bags, composite cement bags, wrapping materials, desiccant, adsorbent packaging materials, etc;
(3)Home decoration: wall covering, floor leather base cloth, flocking base cloth, bedspread, bedspread, tablecloth, etc;
(4)Agricultural applications: vegetables, fruits and melons harvest cloth, crop and plant protective covers, soil insulation cloth, greenhouse curtain, weed protection belt, fruit bags, etc;

4. Differences between PP and PET non-woven fabrics

The first is the difference in raw materials: PP refers to polypropylene fiber, that is, polypropylene; PET refers to polyester, namely polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
Secondly, these two kinds of non-woven fabrics are quite different in application, but they can replace each other in some aspects, but they are different in performance.
In addition, in terms of production and processing methods, the two are both the same and different. Different processing methods determine the final application in most cases. Relatively speaking, PET polyester non-woven fabric should be more high-end and expensive.
(1)PP raw materials are cheap, while PET raw materials are expensive. The waste of PP can be recycled, while PET cannot be recycled, so the cost of PP is slightly lower.
(2)The stability of PET non-woven fabric is better than that of polypropylene non-woven fabric. It is mainly manifested in: strength, wear resistance and other properties. As polyester non-woven fabric is made of special raw materials, it has gone far beyond the technical content and requirements of polypropylene non-woven fabric through advanced imported equipment and complex and scientific processing technology.
(3)The heat resistance of PET is better than that of PP non-woven fabric. Polypropylene non-woven fabric has obvious heat shrinkage. According to investigation, when the temperature reaches 140 ℃, there is obvious shrinkage, while the maximum temperature of polyester non-woven fabric can reach about 260 ℃.
(4)The anti-aging cycle of PET non-woven fabric is higher than that of polypropylene non-woven fabric. Polyester non-woven fabric is made of polyester, which is moth resistant, wear-resistant and UV resistant. The above characteristics are higher than those of polypropylene non-woven fabric.
(5)Polyester nonwoven fabric has good air permeability. Compared with polypropylene and other non-woven fabrics, it has excellent properties such as non water absorption, insoluble in water, and strong permeability.
